The chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC Abia State chapter, Dr Kingsley Onunogbu has inaugurated the state and local government executives of the party with the charge to roll up their sleeves in order to achieve the desired Victory the party have been clamoring for.
Dr Ononogbu while performing the ceremony at the party secretariat at number 40 Uyo street, Umuahia, noted that they are not violent rather have lined up programs to lay bare and make a difference and a better choice come 2023.
He stated that they are not being sentimental but will talk about issues that will be of immense benefits to the people that will improve their livelihood.
According to him, with High Chief Ikechi Emenike, a developmental economist and himself (Ononogbu) who has a background in finance, they will create an economic friendly state. He however called on all aggrieved members of the party to bury their hatchet and return to the party to work for the common good of the party and the people.
On the issue of zoning, Dr Ononogbu noted that campaigns are yet to start, therefore when they get to the said bridge, they will Cross over.
Highpoint of the event was administration took their oaths of allegiance and oath of office separately by the state and local government executives.
The executives however swear to work in accordance to the dictate of the party and discharge their duties diligently
In there separate speeches, Chief Ejiofor who spoke on behalf of the local government chairman and chief Lawrence all appreciated the leaders of the party and pledged towards working to the progress and the success of the party as well as the 2023 general elections.
